Lavender & Blueberry Clay Face Mask is an after-sun face pack to de-tan and brighten your skin.

Our skin tans when exposed to UV rays. Tanning is the process of skin darkening. Melanin is a natural pigment that shields our skin from harmful UV rays by absorbing them. This is the body's defense mechanism response to the radiation. Increased melanin imparts darker colour to our skin which is termed tan. Excess of UV rays may also cause sunburn and DNA damage.

This face mask uses blueberry which contains a powerful antioxidant called anthocyanin that protects the skin from free radicals and heals the skin after sunburn. Kaolin clay present in this face mask stimulates skin cells and lightens the skin colour. Kaolin clay contains a mineral called kaolinite that protects sensitive skin from harmful UV rays. This face mask for deep cleaning also uses flaxseed oil that contains alpha-linolenic acid, Omega fatty acids 3 and 6 which give you radiant skin with an even skin tone.
